Here are my personal checklists for foxhunting travel. Using them won't guarantee an incident-free trip, as I once discovered after leaving all my tack in the stable driveway. But barring such stupidity on your part, they will go a long way in assuring that you have what you need when you get there! Click on the printer icon to print the lists for yourself, and check off as you pack. And let us know what's missing, so we can add it for the next guy or girl.

Great travel list -- and if you're REALLY into loading up your trailer, eventing folks have a detailed list, a handy one-page PDF, that includes extra goodies. Some of them, of course, are specific to eventing, but might come in handy nonetheless. This is pretty much what I keep in my trailer, plus some.

What I would suggest: wrist watch, GPS for directions, drinks (non-alcholic - water, soda, tea), hunt flask (now that is alcholic), health insurance card and telelphone numbers of family/friends that can be contacted in case of emergncy. I hope in your meds you included Advil or Tylenol. Suggestions for horse: extra halters (at least three), extra lead ropes, horse treats, shampoo, sponge, linament, cotton for the vet wrap and the telphone numbers for the locat vets that serves the hunt members. Most important have your hauling vehicle and horse trailer service by professionals before the trip.

I suggest adding cooler & ice with drinks and snacks/food, and a water jug for horses. (Both if it's for a longer trip.)
